Hi,
I just realized either I don't know how or there isn't an option to choose your featured listings in the agentpress listing widget. It only shows the last listings created which doesn't seem very featured.
Does anyone have any advice on this?
Thanks, Randy

did u manage to find your solution?
i realized under AgentPress Listings, we can't specificially select which listing to be featured on the HomePage as well.
I do remember the old AgentPress theme plugins has the 'Featured' function.
Looking for more information on this matter.
thanks

after 1 year we wont have access to future updates?December 13, 2015 at 12:28 pm #173694gnpMemberi hope the agentpress pro developers should bring back the 'feature options' back as default function.
It should be a BASIC requirement for any agent listing. I felt being short-changed for having such a great platform using genesis and agentpress child theme...but only to find such minor important function, we have to fork out additional money to get that function.
i really feel being short-changed as a purchaser.
December 13, 2015 at 6:22 pm #173717Brad DaltonParticipantYou can copy the AgentPress Listings plugin and change the $query_args.
That doesn't require forking out any money.
December 13, 2015 at 6:33 pm #173719IDX LeadsMemberI feel your pain gnp. It seems like it should be a standard feature but apparently it's not. On the other hand I work on numerous real estate websites and my clients pay anywhere from $40 to $100 plus per month for listing management solutions. if you can purchase a solution that meets your needs, costs a mere $15 per year, and includes support, I would be happy it does not cost more.

March 1, 2016 at 7:23 pm #180392gailmailParticipantIt IS sort of strange that the "Featured Listings" REALLY just means "New Listings" and there is no way to select a box in the listing that designates it as a "Featured" Listing? Seriously? Why would ANYONE confuse the 2 concepts? This is a really big fail. There are about a million reasons why an older listing would need/want/expect to be featured on the home page as a Featured Listing.
I came searching for an answer because I was sure I had to be missing something.
This really needs to be fixed!
Disappointing.March 2, 2016 at 8:02 am #180437IDX LeadsMemberYou might try the WP Listings plugin. With WPL you have control over which listings a widget displays based on taxonomy and terms/tags. If I recall correctly, regardless of taxonomy and term the sorting order for display is last in first out based in post ID. To me that's a limitation, but I am yet to find a free listing content management plugin that does everything I want it to do. Such is life.
