Genesis Connect for WooCommerce is the plugin that helps establish the shop page. Since you are also using Visual Composer there's a possibility that there is a conflict between that page builder and the theme settings, Genesis or WooCommerce. If your widgets are not staying, there is also a chance that the widget area that was created is has the same name as another widget. You should have the person you hired take a look at that.

I would never use Divi. Divi is a super-bloated page builder that is proven to significantly slow down website performance. In addition it damages user content by inserting its formatting shortcodes throughout content wherever it is used. Cleaning up content so it displays correctly after Divi is removed is a nightmare. Visual Composer is another one, that like Divi, destroys user content with shortcodes.

The MSP plugin you bought is an add-on for Visual Composer. Visual Composer is a commercial page builder. It has nothing to do with the Genesis Framework or the child theme you purchased. You need this for MSP to work: https://visualcomposer.io/premium/
As an FYI, Visual Composer is one of the page builders that works by inserting short codes within your content. It literally locks you into using it. If you stop using it, your content will appear to be trashed.

The misplaced sidebar link doesn't seem to have the videos , but i can tell you the .site-inner is closing off to early.
The video page link doesn't contain the responsive CSS i gave you , therefore they are not responsive.
I can't help with the USP pro plugin element that's causing the issue , it's not genesis related and you're also using Visual Composer. Too much in the mix to help any further.
You need to put it all together , images , videos and USP pro stuff, and not split it off supplying multiple links to look at , build it the way it needs to be in the final build and trouble shoot that.
Visual Composer inserts shortcodes into your content just like Divi. Right now, it is not compatible with WordPress 5.0 and Gutenberg. If you're doing this for a client, your client will hate you if you ever move away from each other, because Visual Composer will leave a mess behind that is not easy to clean up. If you're doing this for yourself, then go for it.
As it is when Gutenberg is released to production in the very near future, no pre-Gutenberg content will be compatible with its visual editor. Everything has to be converted to content blocks to make it compatible. There's a lot of work coming and Visual Composer is just an additional layer of complexity that you're not going to enjoy.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?While I've not used visual composer directly, it's my understanding that it has a template system/library similar to the (ugh) DIVI builder.
And apparently, Visual Composer is now called WPBakery. And yes, it has a rather flexible template library for saving layouts.
I imagine those 60+ pages don’t have entirely unique layouts, so really you’d just need a few templates coded you can reuse over and over. Visual Composer will probably require you to freshly design every new page, which is working harder, not smarter, especially if you want the same layouts you’ve already made. Also, any theme can handle an unlimited amount of pages, so don’t worry about that.

Kreativ Pro, Studio Pro or Smart Passive Income will probably be good themes for what you are seeking. As for Visual Composer, I can't give an unbiased opinion about it, because I am all for coding website the old fashioned way 🙂
Hello folks... (new here)
I've recently inherited a disastrous implementation of DIVI as I took up a marketing-lead role at a B2B telecom tech company. In planning for a complete redesign, we're sticking with WordPress... but am gravitating to the Genesis framework, for all the obvious reasons.
First question, among the available themes, which are better choices for a 30+ page website (30 1st and 2nd level pages, with dozens of landing pages not in the menu)?
Second, since the rapid creation of new marketing pages will be necessary (once all the CSS is locked in), I plan on using Visual Composer. Is this the best choice for Genesis where options/flexibility are important?

looks like the menu stays actually fixed but the body is moving up and down.
I'd take a look if your critical path CSS and the minified CSS are having different values. e.g. critical path sets margin-top/padding-top to 100px and deferred CSS overrides it with margin-top/padding-top: 50px...
I think you are using visual composer so that might add something to the mix as well... you'll have to go through some trial and error.

In my opinion it is always better to learn how to code rather than rely on page builders. Page builders may seem like a fantastic tool but they really do add unnecessary bloat which affects speed and performance.
The other draw back to page builders is that they are somewhat restrictive in what you can and cannot do. I get a lot of sub contracted jobs working on sites from agencies who are stuck with functionality or design issues that they cannot carry out with something like Divi or Visual Composer. I would imagine that those agencies probably charge a lot of money so they can afford to hire a developer in that situation, though, so maybe they don't care so much.
That's not to say you can't build websites that way, plenty of people do. Just be prepared for situations that you may need to move to the coding side of things to get the website running how the client wants, and if you can't do it be prepared to pay for someone who can.

Jenny. I am using Visual Composer in almost all my custom projects. It works well. No issue so far. It's support also great and community is very active in case of any problems.

Visual composers provide a drag and drop interface for designing pages. If the only content you are creating is blog posts, I don't see the purpose for a visual composer. If you have to use a Visual Design tool, take a look at Beaver Builder. It's one of the few out there that doesn't embed shortcodes into your content.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?I am having an add on site put on my existing Genesis Framework site and the developer seems to think I should find a Visual composer I could use to do stuff myself.
Number 1 I've searched and see VC is not compatible with Genesis and Number 2 I wonder if its just reinventing what Genesis already provides in the beginner manual?
I am a total non tech person - my limit is being able to use WordPress CM for blogging quite happily.. - and I am trying to find a way through his suggestions an my limited skill set.
Grateful to hear if anyone has used Visual composers, if there is a version that is compatible with Genesis Framework, and whether its something I need to worry about?

Both Divi and Visual Composer insert shorcodes into your content that they leave behind when you deactivate thm. In essence, they damage your content and leave it dirty. If you want to work with a page builder that doesn't mess up your content, try Beaver Builder. I can't help you with the slider question. I don't use page builders. The code they generate is too bloated.

I have the childtheme executive pro and activated the slider. The slider grabs the text from another page. I would love to work with a page builder and tried the divi builder. But the thing is, that the slider obviously can not find the text anymore... Now I wonder, if it would work with visual composer or if there is any page builder which the slider is working with.

The one thing to understand is that page builders don't work with widgetized home pages. You'll have to create your own static front page.
